Meet Wil Roberts, a case manager at Gunnison Outpatient. His role supports the Youth Suicide Prevention Program and community-based case management for adults. He works closely with the School-Based Therapy Team in Montrose and enjoys working with the school-based team because they are so passionate about their work and the youth they serve. He joined Axis in April of 2024 and is thrilled to work in his first behavioral health role.
“I’m most proud of positive feedback I’ve received from co-workers and supervisors – I have a very high standard of care for our patients and try my best to go above and beyond to get people the help they need, to have that recognized by peers and supervisors I deeply respect means the world to me.”
Wil is a recent graduate (2023) of Western Colorado University in Gunnison. He graduated with honors with a degree in Psychology. He is currently planning to attend Grand Canyon University to pursue a master’s in clinical counseling and hopes to continue to serve Axis patients. Wil is also Safe-Talk certified, CAMS care certified, and CPI Blue Card Certified. He volunteers with the Brothers Helping Brothers Organization, which is working to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health in the Gunnison Valley.
